From around 100 products upwards. Our sweet spot is 500–10,000 SKUs. We also work with clients up to 500,000 products — large automotive parts catalogues are a particular strength. From a Google Ads perspective, any store selling products online can benefit.
Small, lean teams looking to do more with less. One person managing catalogue, campaigns, and trading — Strategically removes the operational load so they can focus on decisions, not data entry.
Commercially accountable decision makers — ecommerce directors, heads of growth, trading managers. People whose KPIs are revenue and profit, not impressions.
Stores willing to share margin data — gross margin at the product level unlocks POAS-targeted campaign management. Without it, we're optimising for revenue, not profit.
Not a good fit
Being honest about this saves everyone time.
Non-Shopify stores — Strategically is built specifically for Shopify. Other platforms may work but we can't guarantee the same integration quality.
Short-term thinking — feed optimisation and campaign performance compound over 60–90 days. If you need results in week one, we're not the right fit.
Brands running awareness campaigns — we focus exclusively on Google Shopping and Performance Max for product-level revenue. Awareness and brand campaigns are outside our scope.
Businesses where decisions need multiple sign-offs — we need one person who can make decisions. Committee-driven sign-off processes slow everything down.
Products that require lengthy approval on every description — Strategically writes and publishes at scale. If every product description requires multiple review rounds, the model doesn't work.
Businesses with gross margins below 30% — below 20% is not viable for Google Ads. 25–30% is very difficult unless there's a strong differentiation story. We'll be honest about this in the discovery call rather than take on a client we can't make profitable.
Sites not yet selling — we need active product listings in Merchant Center and a working checkout. Pre-launch stores aren't ready for what we do.
