Credits are consumed per piece of content written. A full product rewrite — description, meta title, meta description — uses 5 credits. You can see exactly how many credits each action costs before it runs.

Do I need any other Strategically products?
No. The description writer is completely standalone. Connect your Shopify store and you're up and running — no feed management or enrichment subscription required.
Can I rewrite my entire catalogue at once?
Yes. On the Scale plan (2,000 credits/month), most catalogues under 400 products can be fully rewritten in one month. For larger catalogues, additional credits are available at $0.175 each.
How does brand tone work?
During setup, you configure your tone — formal, casual, technical, lifestyle, or a custom brief. Every description is written to that tone consistently. You can set different tones for different product categories or sub-brands.
Do the descriptions go live automatically?
You choose. Rewrites can be set to auto-publish directly to Shopify, or held in a review queue for approval before publishing. Either way, no CSV exports or manual uploads.
What about meta titles and meta descriptions?
Included on all plans. Each product gets an original meta title and meta description written for click-through rate — not just keyword insertion. These are published to Shopify alongside the product description.
Can I upgrade to feed management or enrichment later?
Yes. Credits earned on the description writer count toward any Strategically plan. Upgrading is straightforward — your existing Shopify connection and tone configuration carry over.
